Magic Mountain Amusement Park was already located in Valencia but soon many developments started to grow in Saugus, Newhall and Canyon Country.
Many years ago when the Northridge Earthquake struck the Los Angeles area the 14 Freeway or the Antelope Valley Freeway was closed and people who lived out in Canyon Country had really long commutes.
